Surf Lesson with MASS (Manuel Antonio Surf School and Camp)

You will begin your lesson with a thorough stretch and warm up to not hurt yourself. Surfing is a very physical sport, be prepared for a little muscle ache the following day! The Savegre River in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica is about an hour away from the main Manuel Antonio hotel’s area. Along the way, you’ll see part of Quepos´ history such as the little towns called “Cuadrantes”, cultural and architectural inheritance of the United Fruit Company presence in this area. Once at the river, you’ll start the tour, but not without a safety briefing and some practice. Besides your expert river guide, a safety kayaker will join the trip. This Tour is a combination of calm paddling and white-water thrills! KIDS SAVING THE RAINFOREST (KSTR) is a non-profit organization, that focuses on the rescue and release of rainforest animals. They are able to help over 130 abandoned and injured animals every year! After an animal regained their health they are released back into the wild, however some animals are not able to be released. These are looked after in a safe sanctuary by KSTR. Coast Jet Ski – Manuel Antonio

This Manuel Antonio tour is perfect if you just want to get out and have some fun. Round trip transportation is provided and you will be picked up at your hotel and go to the Quepos’s pier, where the jet skis’ platform is located. Safety lockers are provided, so you can put all of your belongings in them. Your guide will give you a safety talk and you will get a chance to try a few practice runs on Yamaha Wave runners. These Jet Skis have low emission engines, to preserve the environment and each one of them has a dry compartment where you can store small items such as your camera. This 2-hour excursion will take you where you can see three islands and spot birds flying overhead. During your Jet Ski you will make a 30-minute stop at Biesanz Bay where you can snorkel and try to find schools of parrotfish, angelfish and starfish. Water visibility depends on the season. This Manuel Antonio tour provides you with snacks and beverages and does not require previous experience.

Canopy & ATV Tour
Half Day Adults: $274.00
The tour starts by picking up customers at their hotels. Just 15 minutes from downtown Quepos, in our ATV base, we assign the ATVs to each person and start the journey to the canopy. We use a highly secure, internal and exclusive company route, so you don´t need to worry. After 40-45 minutes you reach the canopy, where you can eat a quick snack at the restaurant before the adventures begins. The canopy duration is about 1 or 2 and a half hours. It will depend of the group. Getting back from the waterfall to the restaurant you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. Then we continue our ATV tour and return to the ATV base. Finally at the end of the journey, we return the guest to their hotels.

Scuba Diving Tour

The Manuel Antonio coastline with its 12 islands gives you the pick of numerous dive sites. Most dives are between 35 and 60 feet, though there are deeper sites for more experienced divers. All dives are guided by a PADI professional who has extensive knowledge and experience at our dive sites so that you will see the most marine life and underwater formations. Dives typically last 45 minutes and you will see stunning rock formations, with various, colorful corals. Spot schools of Snapper and Jacks, Sharks, Angel Fish, Moorish Idols, Parrot Fish, Puffer Fish, Octopus, Eels, Crustaceans, Sea Turtles and in season (From December to May) even the giant Manta Ray. During your surface interval you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Manuel Antonio National Park Coastline.
General information: Must have dive certification to participate in this tour, if are not certified you can do a Discover Scuba Diving, and still dive with certified friends. Dive at 2 different sites. (2 tanks and equipment included in trip) Equipment provided mask, fins, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible pressure gauge and 3mm wetsuit. All boat trips leave from the Quepos marina.
